Led by renowned presenters Celina Peerman and Mel Gonnerman, participants can enroll in one or more of the four sessions, or register for the entire series.

“Session 1: Leading Forward: Trust, Communication & Accountability” will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18, from noon to 4 pm. Leadership at all levels distinguishes any organization as a healthy, growing organization. This session examines what it takes to be an effective leader today. Focus will include communication strategies and ways to improve sharing critical information. With an emphasis on listening and relationship building, participants will have the opportunity to explore trust and the importance of accountability. Whether you are new to supervision or want to refresh your skills, this dynamic session will build on a foundation to help leaders step into future challenges.

“Session 2: Motivating Employees and Teams: Generations and Beyond” will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 8 am to noon. Motivation is one of the most critical areas for leaders to understand. This session will look at a variety of topics from generations and personalities to company cultures and job designs. The discussion and activities will include ways to minimize de-motivators, even in the toughest of circumstances. Learn what motivates different generations, as well as ways to improve work productivity and help employees participate in creating the best company possible.

“Session 3: Leading Change and Managing Transitions” will be held Friday, Nov. 17, from 8 am to noon. Change is constant, and today’s leaders and supervisor must be able to manage the transitions that follow, including how to help employees respond even better. Tools and discussion will focus on helping employees through various types of change and how to help them adjust quickly to assure continued operational excellence. Special attention will be given to managing the ups and downs of change, including the importance of emotional intelligence for leaders in getting change to stick. Time will be spent examining the ways individuals respond to change and the behaviors necessary for leadership during times of change and transition.

“Session 4: Resolving Conflicts and Managing Priorities” will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, from noon to 4 pm. Conflict at work is inevitable, whether it’s between personalities or priorities.
