With the holiday season fast approaching join Iowa Valley Continuing Education for this fun, social event and learn about quick freezer meal resources.

Chicken Crockpot Freezer Meals, held on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Meals include: Chicken Tikka Masala; Chicken Philly Cheesesteaks; Cranberry Chicken; Chicken Curry; Chicken Chili; Honey Sesame Chicken; Easy Chicken Cacciatore; Shredded BBQ Chicken; Honey Dijon Chicken; Chicken Soup with Mexican Seasonings; Balsamic Chicken with Pears and Mushrooms; Chicken Fajitas; Red Pepper Chicken; Apricot-Ginger Chicken; Italian Chicken and Mexican Chicken Chili with Cornbread Topping.
Beef/Pork Crockpot Freezer Meals, held on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Meals include: Crockpot Beef Chili; Crockpot Mexican Black Bean Chili; Crockpot Sloppy Joe’s; Crockpot BBQ Baby Back Ribs; Crockpot Sweet and Sour BBQ Meatballs; Crockpot Beef Roast with Carrots; Crockpot Mississippi Roast with Carrots; Crockpot Pot Roast with Carrots and Potatoes; Crockpot Cranberry Pork Roast; Crockpot Beef Barley Stew; Crockpot Sausage Spinach Tomato Soup; Crockpot Meatball Vegetable Soup; Crockpot Italian Wedding Soup; Crockpot Meatball Minestrone Soup; Crockpot Beef and Broccoli and Crockpot Shredded Pork Tacos.
Casserole-Type Freezer Meals and Other, held on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Meals include: Smoothies; Energy Bites; Classic Oatmeal; Oatmeal Chip Cookies; Spiced Carrot Bread; Cheesy Chicken Tator Tot Casserole; Stuffed Peppers; Sausage Stuffed Mini Peppers; Garden Vegetable Soup with Pesto; Zuppa Toscana; Mushroom/Spinach Stroganoff; Brown Sugar Meatloaf; Ham & Broccoli Strata; Gnocchi & Spinach; Mozzarella-Stuffed Turkey Pesto Meatballs and No-Bake Lasagna with Baby Spinach
Cost of each class is $199 with all ingredients provided for you. Each meal will feed 4-6 people and are freezable for up to 3 months. They will be stored in plastic freezer bags or ovenware disposable containers ready to be placed into the oven or slow cooker. Wine and beer available for purchase.
