Career Fair delayed until Thursday, Feb. 21

The Highway 30 Corridor Career Fair (originally scheduled for today, Wednesday, Feb. 20) has been delayed until Thursday, Feb. 21 due to weather. The Career Fair will be held from 10 am until 12:30 pm in the Student Activity Center at Marshalltown Community College. Participants should park at the east side of the south lot or in the SAC parking lot and enter through the SAC entrance (under the big blue metal roof).

NOTE: The date of this event has been changed due to incoming winter weather.

MARSHALLTOWN – On Thursday, Feb. 21, the Marshalltown Community College Student Activity Center, 3700 S. Center St., Marshalltown, will welcome job seekers and employers for the annual Highway 30 Corridor Career Fair. From 10 am to 12:30 pm exhibitors from across Central Iowa will display information on job and career opportunities, as well as, education and training options available to those seeking employment or education for a new job or career change. The event is free and open to the public.

Area employers interested in reserving space for a booth at the Highway 30 Corridor Career Fair should do so very soon. Businesses who have participated in the Career Fair previously will receive letters of invitation, however new businesses that plan to hire workers in the near future are welcome and encouraged to participate.
