Did you know that honeybees visit approximately 2 million flowers to produce just one pound of honey? If you are interested in getting started in beekeeping, this is the course for you. Learn from experienced beekeeper, Pat Ennis, Iowa Honey Producers past president. In 4 weeks you’ll learn many more interesting facts about bees and beekeeping. This program is designed for the beginner who is interested in beekeeping to the experienced beekeeper with an interest to learn more. Each student with receive a beekeeping book which is included in the fee. Those under 18 must attend with an adult. Register by 2/1. Minimum enrollment 10.
