Basic money management is about meeting your family’s everyday expenses, handling unexpected bills, and saving for the future. It can put you in control of your money, which helps you avoid stress and feel more secure. You’ll learn about differences in ways to invest: banking, stocks, bonds, etc. We will also look at legal issues to consider: Do I need a will? Who will be the legal guardian for my children if I die? Do I need to set up a trust for my kids? How much life insurance is enough to ensure my family’s security? How should I start saving for emergencies, a house, and retirement? How can I reduce some of my ongoing costs? Are on-line documents OK? These are all questions that young families face. Come and get some answers. Discount: $10 discount for each person for couples registering together.
