- Wed / June 9, 2021
- 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This three-day course teaches learners the basics of operating a small unmanned aerial system (sUAS) or “drone”. This course combines classroom instruction with hands-on flying exercises where learners will have the opportunity to operate UAV’s in a safe and proper manner. Topics include uses of drones, FAA rules and certification, national air space (NAS), weather, flight operations, flight control, data collection and processing, and flight planning. This course provides learners with the proper education to successfully pass the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Part 107 Exam, also known as the Remote Pilot Airmen Certificate. The Part 107 certificate allows sUAS operators to legally operate drones for commercial or business purposes. The FAA exam and exam fee are not included.
