Iowa Valley Continuing Education Education Equity Statement

It is the policy of Iowa Valley Community College District to provide equal educational and employment opportunities without discriminating on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, marital status, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation and gender identity. Harassment related to any legally protected characteristic is a violation of this policy. Students who feel they have been subjected to discrimination in violation of this policy may file a formal complaint through the District Complaint Procedure. Privacy Statement

Iowa Valley Continuing Education is committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees within the company, on a need-to-know basis only, use information collected from individual customers. We will not, in any case, sell, rent or distribute client or customer information to any third party for any reason.

Iowa Valley Community College District will comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) as amended and state law governing the release of student educational records. Except as provided for within the Act, personal identifiable information about students in education records cannot be released without written consent. An outline of the District’s procedures regarding compliance with FERPA is published in Guideline to Board Policy 501.

IVCE Refund Policy

An automatic refund is made if IVCE cancels a class. To withdraw your registration before a class starts, please call 641-752-4645 or 1-800-284-4823. Refunds will be issued to students who drop the class at least one day prior to the class start date. Please note that some classes may have earlier advertised cancellation deadlines. No refunds will be issued for classes dropped on or after the class start date.

Iowa Valley Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel classes due to circumstances beyond our control.
