The Kids in College summer camp is a great way for your child to explore a variety of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math related interests! This camp is designed for students who love STEM class and can’t wait to build and create.
Kids in College in Tama
Tama, we’re bringing our camp to you! The Kids in College summer camp through Iowa Valley Continuing Education aims to introduce kids entering grades 4th – 8th to experience STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in a creative environment. This is a two-day camp, with morning sessions. The sessions will run from 8:30 – 11:45 am with a snack provided. Students will get to explore a variety of STEM-related material.
The Courses
Imagine Engineering – Use your imagination and creative skills to engineer new ideas using hexbots, robotics, and good old cardboard and duct tape.
Create Your Own Aquaponics – Did you know you can use fish to grow plants? Come learn how and build your very own container aquaponics system.

Cost – $20/student – price includes both courses
Location – Camp will be held at the South Tama Partnership Center, 215 W 9th St, Tama, IA 52339
