Iowa Valley BCS to Host Professional Development Lunch & Learn Series
Iowa Valley Business & Community Solutions is pleased to announce a new series of professional development sessions focused on enhancing essential soft skills in the workplace. The “Soft Skills Lunch & Learn Series” will feature five unique sessions designed to help local professionals and business leaders improve communication, foster a positive work environment, and boost team productivity.
The series will be held at the Iowa Valley conference center located at 3702 S. Center Street in Marshalltown. Each session is a focused, two-hour workshop that includes a catered boxed lunch. The cost for each session is $39.
“In today’s business landscape, technical skills are a given, but soft skills are what truly set individuals and teams apart,” said Morgan Frederick, Iowa Valley Business and Community Solutions. “This series is a great opportunity for our community to invest in their professional growth and develop the collaborative and leadership abilities that are crucial for success.”

- November 6: Conversations that Matter: Navigating Communication and Accountability
- March 5: Building Trust Between Teams
- April 2: What Can AI Do For You?
- May 7: Real Colors Personality Assessment
Each session is designed to be interactive, providing participants with practical, actionable tools they can apply immediately in their careers.
The series is open to all professionals, from new hires to seasoned managers and team leaders.
