- Five Hours of Classroom Instruction: Experienced MSF-certified Rider Coaches will guide you through topics like motorcycle operation and maintenance, roadway safety strategies, and defensive riding techniques.
- 10 Hours of Hands-on Practice: Develop essential riding skills like balance, braking, cornering, and evasive maneuvers in a safe, controlled environment on a closed course.
MSF-certified RiderCoaches with extensive experience will provide personalized feedback and guidance throughout the program, ensuring you gain the necessary skills and knowledge to ride safely.
Course Details:
- Dates: BCS has openings for the following class dates: June 8-9, July 13-14, August 10-11, or September 14-15. Classes are held weekends, Saturday and Sundays
- Location: Iowa Valley Business and Community Solutions, 3702 S. Center Street, Marshalltown
- Schedule: Saturdays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sundays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Attendance at all scheduled hours is mandatory)
Important Notes:
- Successful course completion requires passing a riding skill test.
- Participants must be able to balance a bicycle to participate in the riding portion.
- The online MSF Basic e-Course MUST be completed beforehand. Each student will be emailed a coupon code to access the eCourse. Please bring your completion certificate to the first night of class.
