The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course is a learn-to-ride education and training safety program that consists of the online MSF Basic e-course to address basic motorcycle knowledge, five hours of classroom instruction with a Rider Coach to address rider perception and risk management, and 10 hours of on-cycle, hands-on instruction. A course completion card may provide an insurance discount. Riders must be able to balance a bicycle to participate in the riding portion of the course, and a riding skill test must be passed for successful completion. The course is Friday 5 pm-9 pm, Saturday 8 am – 5 pm, & Sunday 8 am-noon. Must attend all scheduled hours. Online e-course MUST be completed and certificate brought to class the first night. Each student will be emailed an eCourse coupon code.
