Have you wanted to build your own rifle? Now’s your chance! This course will teach concepts and techniques of building the accurate single shot rifle. You will work on your own project in the fully equipped shop under the guidance of the instructor. Basic tool machine skills are required. Instructor Glenn Fewless is an ACGG professional custom metalsmith who specializes in American and British falling block rifles. Most of Glenn’s business now consists of building high quality sporting rifles. This workshop is one of five workshops offered as part of the 2022 Master Craftsman Series for gunsmithing continuing education in conjunction with the Gunsmith Technology program at Iowa Valley Community College Grinnell. Participants will provide their own firearms, tools and materials to work on during the sessions and are responsible for their own meals and lodging. Tools and materials list will be provided prior to the workshop.
