BCS Announces Outdoor Adventure Kids Camp

Iowa Valley Business and Community Solutions (BCS) is excited to announce the Outdoor Adventure Kids Camp, a summer program designed to connect children with nature and help them develop outdoor skills.

Campers will participate in a variety of activities, including canoeing, air riflery, nature art, nature photography, outdoor escape challenge, bird hike and nest building, container garden/terrarium, critter catching, and camp cooking.

“The Outdoor Adventure Kids Camp is a great opportunity for children to get outdoors, learn new skills, and make new friends,” said Becky Hassett, Director of Programming and Student Support at BCS. “We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment where children can explore nature and develop a lifelong love of the outdoors.”

The camp is open to children who have completed grades 3rd – 8th and will be held at Union Grove State Park on July 11th, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The rain date for the camp is schedule for July 25th.
