Continuing Education is Now Business and Community Solutions

BCS-logo MARSHALLTOWN – The Division known as Iowa Valley Continuing Education has been rebranded to Iowa Valley Business and Community Solutions. The name change reflects an increasing commitment to proving education and training solutions to business and industry, as well as classes for community members.

“This is more than a name change,” said Jacque Goodman, Vice President of Education and Training. “This is our opportunity to align ourselves with the industry partners we serve, and the community members we assist as they advance their careers. We want the brand to reflect the hard work we are doing to support the needs of the workforce in our local communities.”

In recent years, Iowa Valley has worked hard to align its course offerings with local industry training needs. This Division can customize training solutions for almost any business, and provide training in the areas of technical, leadership, health, software and more.

Iowa Valley has also worked hard to strengthen coursework offerings for individual community members looking to advance their careers. The Division has enhanced the class portfolio to provide education and training in the areas that will help people learn the skills they will need to take their careers to the next level.

The personal enrichment classes, like the cooking and photography classes, will still be offered, but the main focus of Iowa Valley Business and Community Solutions will support the workforce initiatives.

“We are excited to align our brand identity to the work we have already been doing,” said Goodman. “We want the community to know that they can expect the same great service from us, but under a new brand identity.”

The change took effect August 1, 2022. For more information, please visit the website, ce.iavalley.edu.
